Dining and diplomacy

The menu for these occasions pay tribute to the Guest of Honor’s cuisine and culture. At the official table, the host is seated with the Guest of Honor to their right, as is protocol. Other invitees sit facing the host, around individual circular tables, ensuring that no one has their back turned to the official table.
